Overview

The Per Diem Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and administering Respiratory Care procedures in accordance with physician's treatment plans, ensuring exceptional patient care in various hospital settings.

• Requires licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Massachusetts.

Requirements

• A.S. in Respiratory Therapy.
• One-year clinical training or equivalent experience.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Registration (RRT) by the N.B.R.C. within six months of hire.
• B.S. in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Two years of critical care experience preferred.
• ECMO experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient assessment skills required.
• Ability to motivate and direct staff.
• Knowledge of age-specific care principles.
