The Per Diem Medical Assistant role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers, ensuring patient comfort and efficient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of direct Medical Assistant experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in busy environments.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
