Overview

The Medical Assistant II role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers, ensuring patient comfort and effective care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of direct Medical Assistant experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in busy environments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and medical office software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to take vital signs and collect specimens.
• Time management skills.
