Patient Observer - Day Shift - Remote

Overview

The Patient Care Observer is responsible for maintaining constant attendance with assigned high-risk patients to ensure their safety and comfort under the direction of the unit’s Shift Charge Nurse.

In Short

• Monitor and assist high-risk patients in a healthcare setting.
• Report any changes in the patient’s condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with patient comfort and safety tasks.

• Work under the supervision of the Shift Charge Nurse.
• Part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit.
• Requires AVADE certification within 6 months.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a clinical environment preferred.
