Patient Observer - Remote

Overview

The Patient Observer is responsible for providing constant observation and care to patients identified as a risk to themselves or others, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).

In Short

• Maintain constant observation of patients.
• Document patient care and observations.
• Notify nurses of any changes in patient condition.
• Assist patients during falls and other emergencies.
• Provide detailed handoff information between staff.
• Assist with feeding patients as directed.
• Must be alert and able to calm patients verbally.
• Work in stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
