Overview

The Patient Care Assistant I works under the direction of licensed personnel to assist patients with daily living activities and monitor vital signs at The Brigham and Women's Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham.

• Assists patients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Experience in patient care or elder care (1-2 years preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient computer skills for electronic medical records.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety and health protocols.
• Knowledge of patient care practices.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
