Overview

The Outreach Athletic Trainer I position supports the athletes at Mansfield High School, providing essential athletic training services under the direction of the program or department head.

In Short

• Provide care for athletic injuries.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs.
• Formulate assessments and execute health plans for student-athletes.
• Provide athletic training coverage for contests.
• Administer emergency care and first aid.
• Create and update injury reports.
• Ensure proper equipment use and fitting.
• Maintain documents and supplies for clinic efficiency.
• Work onsite at Mansfield High School.
• Collaborate with coaches and staff for athlete welfare.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
• Required Athletic Trainer State License.
• Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• 0-1 year experience as an Athletic Trainer preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current Massachusetts driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to adjust actions based on others' actions.
