Overview

The Medical Assistant will support the ENT team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and assisting in various clinical tasks.

In Short

• Full-time position, 40 hours a week.
• Onsite work at 361 High Street, Somersworth, New Hampshire.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers in a team environment.
• Assist during office visits and manage patient flow.
• Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy and patient management.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas.
• Interact with patients and families professionally.
• May float to other departments as needed.
• Strongly preferred: Medical Assistant certification or 1-year experience.
• Required: High School diploma/GED and BLS certification.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED.
• BLS or CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant course or diploma program.
• Preferred: 1 year of professional experience, preferably in ENT.
• National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT.
