Managed Care Service Representative - Remote

Overview

The Managed Care Service Representative is responsible for collaborating with practices, physicians, and patients to ensure that required Managed Care insurance referrals are obtained and recorded in Epic’s Referral Management system prior to scheduled patient visits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Registration, Scheduling, and Insurance Authorization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service experience.
• Proficient with EPIC and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities effectively.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Excellent judgment and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with hospital personnel.
• Experience in a call center environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
