Inventory Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining records of materials in inventory, monitoring reorder points, and initiating actions to replenish stock at Mass General Brigham.

• Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order.
• Monitors reorder points and initiates replenishment actions.
• Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and reports irregularities.
• Records purchases and maintains a database of inventory.
• Processes purchasing orders and tracks orders.
• Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; restocks items as necessary.
• Processes and approves invoices for payment.
• Performs routine clerical duties and assists customers.
• May lead and train staff or interns.
• Ensures compliance with university invoicing procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of inventory control and ordering procedures.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
• Database management skills.
• Clerical and office skills required.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Experience in customer service.
• Ability to lift and deliver goods as required.
• Strong communication skills.
