Overview

The Infection Preventionist for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is responsible for the implementation of infection prevention functions, ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards while collaborating with various stakeholders.

• Implement infection prevention and control goals and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master’s degree in relevant fields preferred.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
• Current Massachusetts RN licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control principles.
• Experience with CDC NHSN surveillance.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving job responsibilities.
