Duct Cleaning Worker - Remote

Overview

The Duct Cleaning Worker is responsible for the removal, cleaning, and re-installation of air conditioning ducts and terminal units throughout the hospital facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

In Short

• Remove, clean, and reinstall air conditioning duct/terminal units.
• Maintain service records of work performed.
• Report broken diffusers or dampers to the foreman.
• Replace or repair ceiling tiles associated with terminal units.
• Visual inspection of areas and submit repairs through the work order system.
• Responsible for snow removal as needed.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with ICRA & ILSM guidelines.
• May perform routine repairs/replacement of ceiling tiles.
• Must be physically able to work on ladders and use a respirator.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or vocational school.
• Three to five years of experience in a hospital environment.
• Physical ability to work on ladders.
• Ability to use a respirator.
• Ability to complete routine written records.
• Hot work certification required.
