Overview

The Cafe Cashier/Attendant is responsible for various duties related to preparing, serving, and cleaning up cafeteria meals at North Shore Medical Center, Inc. This role supports patient care and community service in a diverse and inclusive environment.

• Prepare and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Assist in food preparation and restocking supplies.

• Record food and refrigerator temperatures.

Requirements

• Basic communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate routine information.
• Basic math skills for counting and computing.
• One to three months of related food service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
