Overview

The American Sign Language Interpreter at Brigham and Women's Hospital is responsible for providing interpretation services for non-English speaking and hearing impaired patients, ensuring effective communication about medical information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a human relations field is highly preferable.
• At least 2 years of college level education.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital or healthcare experience.
• Fluency in English and American Sign Language.

• Certification as an ASL Interpreter.
• Understanding of culture-specific care is beneficial.
