American Sign Language VRI Interpreters (RID Certified) - Remote

Overview

LSA Video is seeking experienced ASL Interpreters to work remotely with our VRI call center, requiring proficiency in ASL and spoken English.

In Short

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English through a web-based VRI system.
• Answer inbound VRI sessions promptly.
• Assist clients with basic troubleshooting.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements.
• Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Work flexible hours to meet VRI demands.
• Experience with VRS or VRI systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years interpreting experience required.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with clients.

Requirements

• RID certification and current Pennsylvania registration.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
• High school diploma minimum.
• Familiarity with Windows environment and MS Office suite.
• PC troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Professional phone manner.
• Flexible work schedule.
