In Short

• Provide interpreting services for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing consumers and hearing consumers.
• Use American Sign Language and spoken English for effective communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of all medical information.
• Follow the NAD-RID Professional Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrate professional appearance and conduct.
• Strive for continuous professional development.
• Work remotely or from a CyraCom office in the continental US.
• Participate in workshops and professional meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service with good judgment.
• Flexible work schedule availability required.

Requirements

• Complete proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Valid RID certification required.
• Knowledge of the NAD-RID Professional Code of Conduct.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with MS Office and related software.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Medical interpretation experience preferred.
