Overview

WithersRavenel is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join the expanding Residential Practice Area! This is a unique Project Management opportunity working with one of our premier clients on a 7,000-acre planned and sustainable community where residents will live, work and play. You will be using cutting-edge technologies and working with a top-notch team of developers, municipalities, and engineers on large scale residential, commercial and parks and recreation projects (30+ miles of greenways!) with a focus on green infrastructure design. In addition to these amazing projects, you will serve as a mentor and coach for a growing team.

In Short

• Prepare critical agreements including scope, schedule, fees, and terms and conditions.
• Monitor and report the financial performance of all Team projects.
• Responsible for oversight of the Team and approval for designs and construction plans.
• Provide direction and coaching for your Team.
• Lead quality control/quality assurance development.
• Mentor and develop Team Members.
• Implement effective communication and performance management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer or ability to obtain registration within six months.
• 12+ years of engineering experience with 6+ years managing teams.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with business and strategic planning processes.
• Proven track record of developing client relationships.
• Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking.
