Overview

As an Account Executive (AE) on the Wistia sales team, you will manage your pipeline through a combination of inbound and self-sourced leads, educating potential customers on leveraging video to market and grow their business.

In Short

  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities at various stages in the sales funnel.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of prospective customers.
  • Prospect new deals both inside and outside of Wistia’s database.
  • Conduct consultative demos to prospective customers.
  • Interface with technical members of the Wistia team.
  • Effectively forecast your pipeline from a monthly and quarterly perspective.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of quota-carrying closing sales experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Strong time management, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota.
  • A genuine curiosity about customers and their business challenges.
  • Experience conducting value-based product demonstrations.
  • Experience in selling an end-to-end solution.
  • Enthusiasm to adapt and contribute to an evolving sales strategy.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
