Overview

The fundraising team at the Wikimedia Foundation conducts worldwide campaigns across nearly 40 countries and 20 languages, collecting small donations (averaging about $15) as well as large and small offline donations to support the Wikimedia Foundation’s mission to empower and engage people around the world with free knowledge. The CRM Administrator is a critical part of the Wikimedia Foundation’s Fundraising Technology team, responsible for managing and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, CiviCRM, to support fundraising strategies.

In Short

  • Oversee user support lifecycle for donor data management tools.
  • Customize CiviCRM and Acoustic platforms based on business needs.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy in CiviCRM.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements.
  • Manage vendor partners for service delivery.
  • Participate in sprint-based teams for task execution.
  • Monitor data privacy and governance practices.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.
  • Evaluate new CRM products and updates.
  • Support fundraising operations with technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CRM administration.
  • Proficiency in CRM configuration and data management.
  • Strong technical skills in reporting and automation.
  • Understanding of fundraising strategies.
  • Experience with system integrations and APIs.
  • Data analysis skills, preferably with SQL.
