Pipeline Scheduler, Weekend - Remote

Overview

This position will coordinate the receipt and delivery of natural gas with our shipper customers and with interconnecting counterparties during the Saturday through Monday same-day confirmation cycles through our Quorum Pipeline Transaction Management (QPTM) system to ensure commercial pipeline activities are tracked, recorded and invoiced directly. This position will support our Pipeline Operations group.

• Coordinate the receipt and delivery of natural gas.
• Nominate and confirm on interstate and intrastate pipelines.
• Calculate imbalances for shippers and OBA interconnections.
• Communicate with shippers to verify nominations and contract information.
• Monitor gas flow, pressure, and quality on SCADA.
• Exchange daily nomination data with counterparties.
• Develop relationships with interconnecting pipelines and customers.
• Assist scheduling team with volume allocations and measurement details.
• Able to work weekend shifts, Saturday – Monday 7am-10pm.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required.
• 3+ years of pipeline scheduling experience.
• Quorum experience helpful.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Understanding of pipeline operations, pressures, flow rates, and gas quality.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Exposure to Texas Intrastate Pipelines.
• Familiarity with interstate pipelines.
• Experience with SCADA preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills required.
