Overview

As a Principal Project Manager at Western Digital, you will lead the evolution of the PMO with a focus on scalability, accountability, and enterprise discipline, driving transformation across the global supply chain.

In Short

  • Lead high-priority cross-functional programs/projects from planning through execution.
  • Embed best practices into hybrid workstreams and support business-side PMs.
  • Create tools to track program health, dependencies, and delivery velocity.
  • Own the creation of executive-ready storytelling materials.
  • Create PM governance models and project dashboards.
  • Develop and lead training for initiative leads and program managers.
  • Work closely with leadership to scale accountability and operational transparency.
  • Contribute to the formalization of PMO processes for future state delivery.
  • Drive adoption of strategic frameworks across all initiatives.
  • Co-lead steering and planning reviews with executives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of program/project management experience in a Supply Chain organization.
  • Fluency in Jira for managing workflows across workstreams.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive storytelling.
  • Experience establishing or leading a PMO function.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain, IT, and Business Functions.
  • Skilled at guiding cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Driven by clarity and enablement with a focus on outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience leading Supply Chain and Digital Transformation programs.
