Overview

As a Fixed Asset Accountant III in Global Finance Operations, you will manage Fixed Asset operations, ensuring compliance with audits and streamlining processes to improve efficiency.

In Short

• Responsible for Fixed Asset operations including monitoring Capital Improvement Projects.
• Manage asset capitalization, retirements, and transfers.
• Lead month-end closing activities for the US region.
• Post FA accruals and perform monthly subledger close.
• Prepare roll forward reports and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and KPMG audits.
• Coordinate physical disposal of fixed assets.
• Conduct annual physical counts and reporting.
• Prepare inter- and intra-company asset transfers.
• Support monthly Capital Request reviews and collaborate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Fixed Asset function.
• Experience in Global Business Services or Shared Services preferred.
• Strong familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, especially Oracle Cloud or SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of US fixed asset reporting.
• Strong accounting principles and fixed asset process knowledge.
• Ability to build relationships across various levels in an organization.
• Effective communication skills with diverse constituencies.
• Capability to manage workloads across different geographies.
