Overview

As a Fixed Asset Accountant III at Western Digital, you will play a crucial role in managing Fixed Asset operations, ensuring compliance with audits, and streamlining processes.

In Short

• Responsible for Fixed Asset operations including monitoring Capital Improvement Projects.
• Manage asset capitalization, retirements, and transfers.
• Lead month-end closing activities for the APAC region.
• Post FA accruals and perform monthly subledger close.
• Prepare roll forward reports and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and KPMG audit requirements.
• Coordinate physical disposal of fixed assets.
• Conduct annual physical counts and reporting.
• Prepare inter and intra-company asset transfers.
• Support monthly Capital Request reviews and collaborate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Fixed Asset function.
• Experience in Shared Service setup preferred.
• Strong familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and fixed asset processes.
• Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Effective multi-tasking and collaborative skills.
