Overview

The Salesforce Administrator plays a crucial role in leveraging the Salesforce platform to enhance customer relationship management. This strategic and hands-on position requires a blend of Salesforce administration, development, and system integration expertise. The Salesforce Administrator collaborates across departments, especially with IT, to ensure Salesforce is optimally integrated and utilized across the organization.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce system administrator, managing user accounts, reports, dashboards, workflows, and routine tasks.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet organizational needs, including page layouts, fields, tabs, and business processes development.
  • Develop and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript; focus on UI enhancements using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
  • Maintain data integrity with regular audits, cleanups, and management of data feeds and integrations.
  • Automate business processes for efficiency and develop custom automation solutions.
  • Oversee security settings, conduct audits, and maintain security measures.
  • Monitor system performance, manage licenses, and track user activity.
  • Engage with the Salesforce community to stay informed on best practices and innovations.

Requirements

  • Requires a Salesforce Administrator certificate or 2-5 years of Salesforce administration and customization experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I preferred.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce and Javascript.
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
  • Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills are essential for projecting a positive image as a representative of the Credit Union.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective and efficient manner.
  • Ability to attend to numerous details, with frequent interruptions, under the stress of maintaining courteous, accurate and timely relations with a variety of individuals.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply current financial service industry standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to present ideas and to report facts and technical information.
  • Self-starter, capable of working with general instructions and minimal supervision.

Benefits

  • Work can be performed remotely or in an office setting.
  • Hours of work will primarily be during regular business hours and average at least 40 hours per week.
  • Some variation in work hours due to hours of operation, scheduling for early/ late shifts, special projects, meetings, and other concerns.
  • Occasional out-of-town and overnight business travel may be required for education, by air and/or auto.
