Overview

Welocalize is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Specialist for Spanish (Spain) to ensure accuracy and compliance in translated life sciences-related content.

In Short

• Perform rigorous quality control checks on translated documents.
• Review formatting, layout, and non-linguistic elements in Spanish.
• Handle specialized content areas such as In Vitro Diagnostics and Pharmacovigilance.
• Utilize CAT tools like XTM, Trados, and MemoQ for QC tasks.
• Adhere to client-specific applications and tools.
• Maintain a capacity of reviewing 5,000+ weighted words per week.
• Document and communicate QC findings using Microsoft Office.
• Collaborate with the project management team for timely delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in localization focused on quality assurance.
• Experience with CAT tools (XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase).
• Familiarity with QA tools like Xbench or Verifika.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Track Changes in Word.
• Advanced English (C1 or higher) and native Hebrew knowledge.
• Available to work full-time and on Fridays.
