The Irish Linguist performs quality control and translation tasks, ensuring high standards and adherence to the Language Process for assigned projects.

• Perform quality control and on-demand translation tasks.
• Manage language materials like glossaries and Style Guides.
• Interact with clients on linguistic matters.
• Support and train internal linguists and freelancers.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in translation/localization.
• 2+ years of review experience.
• Native fluency in Irish and English.
• Thorough understanding of the localization process.
• Experience with standard software and CAT tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to train and teach others.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
