The Gaelic Linguist performs quality control tasks and translation tasks, ensuring high standards and deadlines are met while managing language materials and team interactions.

• Perform copy-edit and translation tasks in Gaelic.
• Manage language materials and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent.
• 4+ years of translation/localization experience.
• 2+ years of review experience.
• Native fluency in Gaelic and English.
• Understanding of the localization process.
• Experience with standard software and CAT tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to train and teach others.
• Ability to work within a virtual team.
