Overview

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health is responsible for creating an inclusive environment and making a positive first and last impression on patients, performing various administrative tasks to ensure efficient center operations.

In Short

  • Welcoming patients and guests
  • Conducting visit check-in and assisting with required forms
  • Collecting co-pays and updating patient information
  • Scheduling/rescheduling appointments
  • Managing phone lines and conducting outbound calls
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
  • Floating to other centers as needed
  • Performing other assigned duties
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages preferred
  • Strong computer skills and professional phone etiquette required

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other relevant languages
  • US work authorization
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Some college preferred
  • A flexible and positive attitude
  • A welcoming attitude toward older adults
  • A high level of integrity
  • Ability to embody the company culture of positivity and ownership
