Overview

As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you will engage in preparing and compounding specialized therapies within a clean room environment, utilizing your clinical knowledge to ensure smooth medication delivery to patients.

In Short

• Preparation and compounding of sterile products
• Maintain the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements
• Document IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing
• Complete order entry and refills under pharmacist supervision
• Manage inventory and storage with appropriate documentation
• Perform traditional non-compounding tech work for specialty products
• Work Monday-Friday with daily rotating shifts
• Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License required
• 6 months pharmacy experience or pharmacy program graduate needed
• IV compounding experience preferred

Requirements

• Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License
• 6 months of pharmacy experience or a graduate of a pharmacy program
• Knowledge of USP 795, 800, and 797
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• High school diploma or GED required
