Overview

The Medical Scribe role at Oak Street Health is designed to support primary care providers with clinical documentation, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Scribes assist throughout the patient care journey by documenting encounters and ensuring accurate clinical records.

• Support primary care providers with clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Advanced listening and communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Ability to type 70+ words per minute preferred.
• Ability to adapt to new workflows.
• Self-starter within the role.
• Excellent job attendance required.
• Compliance with HIPAA.
• US work authorization required.
