Overview

As a District Support Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care and managing pharmacy operations while supporting pharmacy teams across various locations.

In Short

• Support pharmacy teams by filling scheduling gaps.
• Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Deliver immunizations and support the pharmacy team in patient care.

• Travel within the district as needed to support staffing.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of employment.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius.
• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Strong customer service and team orientation skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Mathematical reasoning to ensure prescription accuracy.
• Problem resolution capabilities for challenging interactions.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and mobility.
• 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
