Overview

The District Pharmacy Coordinator (DPC) plays a critical role in supporting the effective coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across their market, ensuring timely coverage and contingency plans to support day-to-day pharmacy operations.

In Short

  • Coordinate pharmacist scheduling across pharmacies.
  • Support staffing for outside immunization clinics.
  • Serve as a timekeeping administrator for market pharmacists.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll submission for pharmacists.
  • Manage vacation requests and balances for pharmacists.
  • Track and escalate issues impacting pharmacy operations.
  • Assist with administrative activities related to pharmacy compliance.
  • Work flexible hours and potentially augment hours in a local pharmacy.
  • Maintain organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with Pharmacy District Leader.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification required within 90 days.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in retail or corporate pharmacy environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and payroll systems preferred.
