Overview

As a Canister Calibration Technician at CVS Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely medication delivery in a closed-door pharmacy setting, working under the supervision of a Lead Mechanic and Maintenance Supervisor.

In Short

  • Full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Starting pay of $21.50 with opportunities for advancement.
  • Responsibilities include building, repairing, and maintaining drug canisters.
  • Involvement in cleaning, auditing, and testing canisters.
  • Must demonstrate experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 2 PM to 10:30 PM.
  • Eligible for various employee benefits including health insurance and 401k matching.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining close visual acuity.
  • Regular attendance and ability to work mandatory overtime are required.
  • Job specific training will be provided.

Requirements

  • One year + experience with electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Verification of high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must apply for an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Complete 500 hours of state-mandated training.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in healthcare or warehouse environments is preferred.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
