Overview

The Pharmacy Technician I acts as a liaison between the patient, provider, and pharmacist, providing exceptional customer service and support in a remote work environment.

In Short

  • Field inbound calls for refill requests and assist patients with medication renewals.
  • Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients.
  • Coordinate with care teams to ensure patients receive their medications.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient interactions.
  • Maintain a distraction-free remote work environment.
  • Meet departmental performance metrics.
  • Complete continuing education and maintain licensure.
  • Engage with patients to provide a positive experience.
  • Participate in remote training sessions.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and reliability in all tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience required.
  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • US work authorization required.
  • Demonstrated reliability and satisfactory attendance.
