Overview

The Adjudication Associate (Omnicare) is responsible for preparing and submitting claims to ensure timely reimbursements while maintaining communication with nursing facilities, physicians, and insurance companies.

In Short

• Responsible for claim preparation and submission.
• Communicate with nursing facility staff and insurance companies.
• Review and research rejected claims.
• Handle backlog of denied claims for resubmission.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Work Monday-Friday from 9:00pm-5:30am EST.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy-based setting.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Experience in managed care and Medicaid/Medicare organizations preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and dedicated nature.
