Part-time Virtual Activity Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Dedicated Well-being Activity Coordinator (WAC) will work collaboratively with the designated client’s health promotion team to assist with developing and implementing activity-related programs, with a strong emphasis on delivering yoga, meditation, and mindfulness classes.

In Short

• Part-time role (25 hours per week).
• Perform fitness assessments and individual exercise consultations.
• Lead group exercise and meditation classes.
• Develop and implement fitness-related programs.
• Handle member suggestions and ensure quality customer service.
• Promote classes and assist with event promotions.
• Encourage employee participation and motivate participants.
• Assist in producing aggregate reports.
• Coordinate communication between WebMD and employer units.
• Support process improvement and service model design.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a fitness-related field.
• 2 years of client-facing experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Yoga instructor certification required.
• Meditation/mindfulness certifications required.
• Experience leading meditation and mindfulness sessions.
• Group exercise and/or personal training certification required.
• Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.
