In Short

• Analyze tradeoffs and drive consensus with product, hardware, and software teams to converge on a sensing architecture for a new vehicle platform.
• Propose sensing and perception requirements that flow from product goals.
• Guide communication between the sensing and perception systems engineering team and the cross-functional new platform program.
• Develop and coordinate execution of test campaigns that accelerate product development.
• Lead the sign-off of sensing and perception systems for deployment.
• Write reusable, high quality, data analysis and test automation software (Python).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with robotics, sensing, or perception technologies.
• Experience with system engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working on large and complex systems.
• Experience with Python.
