Senior Consultant – Financial Modeler - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Consultant in Wavestone's Business Consulting practice, you will serve as a trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of business-related engagements. You will have the opportunity to be a hands-on leader, gathering and analyzing data, exploring innovative solutions, making actionable recommendations, and communicating with key stakeholders.

In Short

• Analyze structured and unstructured financial data to develop robust financial models.
• Leverage financial analysis tools to evaluate portfolio options.
• Build high-quality, client-ready spreadsheets and reports using Excel.
• Create and present clear financial models to support client decision-making.
• Collaborate with a team of financial analysts for forecasting and strategic decisions.
• Lead client project meetings providing financial insights.
• Participate in proposal development and delivery.
• Manage project teams and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Present findings to clients and internal teams.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in financial consulting.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial analysis.
• Project management experience leading teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel based on client requirements.
