Overview

Watson Institute powers transformative Fellowships in partnership with leading corporations and foundations to support highly promising, historically disenfranchised rising entrepreneurs and leaders. The Fellowships provide proven entrepreneurship and leadership skills training, committed mentorship, community development stipends, long-term Alumni support, and access to a global community of peers, mentors, and opportunities.

In Short

• Lead recruitment of Preceptors, Mentors, and Entrepreneurs in Residence.
• Build a system to guide Program Managers in recruitment efforts.
• Develop a robust recruitment strategy with in-person and virtual engagements.
• Ensure hiring timelines are met and top talent is recruited.
• Uphold excellent written communication skills during the hiring process.
• Coordinate with Operations Team for job descriptions and contracts.
• Track progress of the new recruitment system.
• Foster relationships with transformational leaders for the community.
• Support Fellows' impact and growth through mentorship.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as the role evolves.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Experience in community building and recruitment.
• Ability to develop scalable systems for recruitment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in networking and relationship cultivation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
• Willingness to engage in both virtual and in-person events.
