In Short

• Full-time, permanent role within the Global Safeguarding Team.
• Manage safeguarding cases and investigations.
• Provide guidance to Members and Country Programmes on safeguarding topics.
• Design and deliver training for various audiences.
• Engage with external safeguarding networks.
• Monitor compliance with global safeguarding standards.
• Develop training resources like webinars and guidance documents.
• Available on call throughout the year for safeguarding advice.
• Work independently from home or a country/member office.
• Travel occasionally at short notice.

Requirements

• Experience in safeguarding practices and policies.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases and provide support.
• Familiarity with global safeguarding standards.
• Experience in engaging with external networks.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to WaterAid’s values and mission.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
