In Short

  • Seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure and managing incidents.
  • Work with tools like incident.io and JIRA for support requests.
  • Weekend coverage from Friday to Monday, 8 AM to 5 PM GMT+10.
  • Proven experience with GCP services required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and performance optimization best practices.
  • Certifications in GCP are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Understanding of Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with incident.io for incident tracking.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA.
  • Experience with observability tools like Grafana.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Python, Terraform).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation.
  • Experience in managing cloud incidents.
  • Strong collaboration skills with teams.
