Overview

As an Information Security Engineer, you play a critical role in designing and implementing security mechanisms to protect Vytalize data and information systems.

In Short

• Assist in the testing of incident response plans to address security breaches.
• Evaluate and assess security technologies for organizational needs.
• Design cloud security strategies to protect data and applications.
• Maintain and monitor the cyber security risk register.
• Conduct vendor risk assessments and manage third-party compliance requests.
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams for compliance.
• Monitor training campaigns to improve security awareness.
• Respond to and resolve information security events.
• Communicate security risks to senior management.
• Work effectively in a complex enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Work experience in the healthcare information security field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in IT security.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI DSS.
• Experience with incident response and vulnerability management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on security design.
• Ability to analyze information system security design.
• Preferred expertise in security assessment methodologies.
