Overview

The District Sales Manager for Ventrac is responsible for building and developing a dealership network to expand the growth of the Ventrac product line, providing excellent customer service and product knowledge.

In Short

  • Build and maintain relationships with Ventrac dealerships.
  • Monitor dealer business health and guide business plans.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Coordinate sales activities and training for dealerships.
  • Attend dealership activities and industry events.
  • Develop strategies for product sales within dealerships.
  • Travel approximately 50%-75% annually.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude required for equipment demonstration.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the turf or dealership market.
  • Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Medical Examiners Certification.
  • Ability to trailer, load, unload, and demonstrate equipment.
  • Willingness to travel for work, including overnight stays.
  • Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor.
  • Must be insurable by VPI’s auto insurance carrier.
  • Mechanical aptitude to understand and demonstrate equipment.
