Social Media Manager - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic, platform-savvy Social Media Manager to join our team at The Dodo. This role is primarily focused on executing day-to-day social distribution, ensuring that content from our video team is published seamlessly and strategically across platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Threads. You’ll manage scheduling and publishing, optimize copy for performance, and help maintain The Dodo’s trusted, high-impact presence across social.

• Own day-to-day scheduling and publishing of social content across platforms.
• Tailor copy and tags per platform and manage community engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless publishing.
• Use tools like Dash Hudson and Buffer to manage workflows.
• Track content performance insights and identify trends.
• Stay updated on platform shifts and emerging features.
• Contribute to short-form video content creation.
• Support the team during high-volume campaigns.

Requirements

• 3+ years of social media experience.
• Strong familiarity with scheduling tools.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Confident editing short-form content.
• Comfortable being on-camera or doing voiceover.
• Own a pet and enjoy being part of the pet-parenting community.
