Overview

As a Technical Support Operator, you will be the front line in providing exceptional customer service at our 24/7 help desk, ensuring customer satisfaction by exceeding their expectations.

In Short

  • Provide customer support via a 24/7 helpdesk.
  • Troubleshoot email delivery and web hosting issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues efficiently.
  • Work with Linux, cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin.
  • Handle DNS, FTP, SSL, and Apache service-related issues.
  • Communicate with customers effectively via email, chat, and phone.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with web hosting applications and protocols is essential.
  • Knowledge of PHP, Python, Perl, and Ruby on Rails is a bonus.

Requirements

  • Customer-focused with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with Linux shell (bash) and control panels like cPanel/WHM.
  • Working knowledge of Iptables firewalls (CSF, APF, etc.).
  • Familiarity with common website applications like WordPress and Magento.
  • Ability to derive context from incomplete customer information.
  • Must pass background/drug tests.
  • Full-time availability required.
  • Previous experience in technical support is preferred.
