Veteran's Outreach Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Veteran's Outreach Specialist plays a dynamic role in supporting veterans and their families who are homeless or experiencing housing instability, through outreach and resource connection.

In Short

• Conduct outreach and advocacy for veterans in need.
• Complete schedules, logs, and reports on outreach activities.
• Assist in pre-screening and enrollment processes for veteran clients.
• Collaborate with case managers to identify service options.
• Build a network of referral sources for veterans.
• Participate in team and external meetings.
• Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9-5.
• This is a hybrid position, combining remote work and in-person duties.

Requirements

• BA/AA degree preferred or 2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of veteran issues and resources preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills.
