Dispatch Operations Lead (Part-Time, Remote, Weekend)

Overview

The Dispatch Operations team at Voltus is looking for a Lead who is passionate about delivering MW to the grid during dispatches, focusing on the decarbonization of the electric grid and the role of distributed energy resources.

• Part-time role on weekends from 8am to 4pm ET.

• Maintain readiness to receive dispatches from grid operators.
• Become an expert in executing dispatches across various programs.
• Maximize customer participation in dispatches.
• Lead internal communication during dispatches.
• Support Market Operations team with day-ahead bids.
• Capture lessons learned after dispatches.
• Monitor market participation for compliance.
• Drive actions for customer readiness during critical times.

Requirements

• 0-2 years experience in an operational setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and reliable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with details and various web-based tools.
• Fluency in Google Sheets, Python, and/or SQL is a plus.
