In Short

• Design and balance core gameplay systems, including player progression and rewards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create fun, sticky, and monetizable features
• Own the design documentation and communicate mechanics clearly
• Use player data to identify problems and improve systems
• Participate in roadmap planning for game updates and live events
• Iterate on game balance based on testing and feedback
• Playtest and analyze competitive titles for insights
• Strong understanding of systems design and live operations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for sports games and competitive play

Requirements

• Proficiency in creating clear design documents
• Experience using data to inform design decisions
• Deep interest in UGC games like Roblox, Minecraft, or Fortnite
• Knowledge of American football rules and fan culture is a bonus
• Prior experience in free-to-play game development is a plus
• Degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or related field is preferred
