Overview

The BESS Commissioning Manager will oversee the commissioning and testing of Battery Energy Storage Systems, primarily working remotely with occasional travel for project support.

In Short

Manage commissioning processes for Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Conduct performance and startup testing.
Act as the Owner’s representative for compliance and safety.
Support GIA and ISO testing.
Work remotely with up to 75% travel required.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors.
Participate in safety programs and audits.

Requirements

Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems installation and startup.
Knowledge of Li-Ion batteries and ESS integration.
Experience in commissioning process creation.
Familiarity with containerized systems and SCADA.
Experience with DC and AC systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Experience with PLCs and industrial electronic equipment.
Engineering or electrical experience preferred.
