Overview

As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Vitals, you will be responsible for leading all marketing efforts and driving brand growth in the Shopify ecosystem.

In Short

• Own the entire marketing function—from vision to execution.
• Design and lead multi-channel strategies including paid, organic, email, and content marketing.
• Drive installs, adoption, retention, and LTV.
• Build a high-performing marketing organization.
• Position Vitals within the Shopify ecosystem and expand visibility.
• Refine messaging and storytelling across all platforms.
• Launch bold campaigns and scrappy experiments.
• Obsess over performance and iterate for growth.
• Report directly to the founders.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading marketing for a Shopify app.
• 10+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of Shopify merchants.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools for marketing.
• Strong strategic thinking and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Experience leading freelancers/agencies.
• Strength in at least one core marketing area.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
